The following events are FREE and open to the public—parents and children. Triple P CT programs are for parents who have children up to age 12.

  • Are you looking for a more positive relationship with your child? Do you feel that having support from other parents and having access to resources would be helpful? Then Triple P is for you! Triple P aims to help parents build positive relationships with their kids (ages 0-12) and develop ways to manage problem behavior in a supportive group setting. Refreshments will be provided and child care is available. Enrollment is open, but space is limited.

  • Guests will consist of collaborating agencies such as staff and participants from Nurturing Families Network sites not housed within Family Centers, neighborhood hospital and clinic staff, and Asylum Hill families with young children.

  • Introduce Triple P and Triple P practitioners to parents. Parenting corners will be set up at each site and will include a display of Triple P materials. Parents will be able to view Triple P videos, and practitioners will answer questions.

  • Introduce Triple P and Triple P practitioners to parents. The last session of an 8-week Triple P discussion group was videotaped. The tape, which will be shown for the first time at this event, includes comments from parents who participated.  A Triple P cake will be served.
