CONNECTICUT RECOVERY - July 2011
PROGRESS

Since February 17, 2009, Connecticut state agencies have been engaged in activities to implement programs created by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

On July 1, 2011, state agencies that have received Recovery Act Funding began the eight cycle of reporting to the White House’s Office of Management and Budget on their activities since receiving those funds.

The job numbers (7,418) represent employment activity associated with the Recovery Act between April 1 and June 30, 2011.  All other information reported is cumulative since February 17, 2009.

A snapshot of Connecticut’s Recovery Act activities are captured below.  The information provided reflects only those activities associated with the implementation of Recovery Act programs by state agencies and does not reflect efforts undertaken by other, direct recipients of Recovery Act funds in the state, such as municipalities, businesses and not-for profits.
