Fraud and Abuse

Connecticut, along with the Federal Government, is undertaking significant measures to bring an unprecedented degree of transparency to the implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).  The purpose of this section is to provide the public with a vehicle for reporting suspected fraud, waste or abuse they believe is occurring with stimulus dollars.

On a regular basis, a link to a section on the Federal Recovery website will be posted concerning suspected scams associated with stimulus funds.  To view the current posting please click here:  http://www.recovery.gov/?q=content/recovery-board-issues-update-recovery-act-frauds-and-scams.

In addition, below you will find contact information for individual Offices of Inspector General Hotlines at the federal level.  These hotlines can be used to report allegations of waste and fraud as they relate to the use of stimulus funds.
