Since February 17, 2009, Connecticut state agencies have been engaged in activities implementing programs and initiatives created by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

On October 1, state agencies that have received Recovery Act funds began reporting to the federal government on their activities since receiving those funds.  The federal government is making this information publicly available for the first time on October 30, 2009 through the www.Recovery.gov site.

In anticipation of the release of that information, the Governor’s office has captured the preliminary information sent to the White House’s Office of Management and Budget and the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board.  The information gathered in the following documents and spreadsheets reflects only that information pertaining to state agencies and the Recovery Act funding they have received.

Again, this is only preliminary data, as federal agencies are still working with state agencies to verify data provided in the October reports.
