Alex's Connecticut Project

Alex is a fourth grade student who attends Arbor View Elementary School in Illinois. His teacher, Mrs. Benda  recently assigned Alex's class a project in which students had to create state floats - Alex got Connecticut. With the help of his Mom Gwen, he was able to obtain a lot of information and materials about Connecticut and Connecticut symbols. He was even given a Tall Ship model to use in the float.

Alex sent us pictures of his float. Great job Alex! An A+ in our book. See how many Connecticut symbols you can identify in the pictures.

About the project Alex said, "The best thing about my float is probably the tall ship, because it is very detailed."

Our thanks to Alex for sharing his project with us!
