ased on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the Broadway musical that played for over 2,500 performances and received multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect Broadway Junior musical!

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."

The C.A.S.T. Theater is fully handicapped accessible. Handicapped children are encouraged to participate in all auditions and classes. Parents should contact the C.A.S.T. Theater for specific questions. Manchester High School is handicapped accessible. Outdoor venues are accessible.

CAST is a theater organization helping to preserve the arts in the greater Manchester area and beyond.  CAST started as a small childrens' theater group run out of the home of its Co-Founder, Donna Mercier.  In the beginning, CAST operated primarily during the summer, mounting musical productions out of Manchester High School's Bailey Auditorium.   However, since inception, CAST has grown ten fold.

CAST, Inc. now operates out of its own facility on Summit Street in Manchester, CT.   CAST has grown from a childrens' theater group doing summer musicals to a full scale theatre group offering year-round  productions and classes for children.  There is also a splinter group known as CAST After Dark offering theater productions for teens and adults. CAST is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers and all funds raised are used to maintain our program.
