The Hamden PTA Council is a partnership of dedicated individuals, parents/guardians and educators committed to advocating for and supporting the youth of Hamden. We act as a liaison between Hamden’s local PTAs and the Hamden Public School system and the Connecticut PTSA, and National PTA and our local members.  The Hamden PTA Council gains its strength from the diversity of its connections with school administrators, town officials and other community organizations.  The Council believes in open discussion and free exchange of ideas, information, and resources which promote positive action in the schools and community in order to improve the education and lives of the children of Hamden.

The Hamden PTA Council and it’s member units are 501(c)3 non-profits; all memberships and donations are tax deductible.  Each PTA is its own entity and, although they work closely with their school administrators and teachers, they are unaffiliated with the Hamden Public School system.
