Since you can't come to the Zoo, we're bringing the Zoo to you! Although we're not able to welcome you on-site, the Zoo is doing everything we can to stay connected to you and our community. While we're closed, we're using technology to keep us together. You can keep in touch with us on Facebook, Instagram, through updates on our website at beardsleyzoo.org, or you can email us at info@beardsleyzoo.org. We're taking good care of our animals and staff, and providing learning opportunities for all ages until it's safe to be together again!

1. Watch our Red Panda Cams  - Take a peek and see what Rochan and Meri are up to. Camera Hours: Live Feed from 8:30AM-6:00PM

2. Join us for Facebook Live
We plan to be with you every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with a  Facebook Live visit and Q&A with our animals and staff. Each video will also be uploaded to  the animals' page on our website.

3. Play our Zoo Review
At the end of each week, visit our Facebook page for questions related to the week's Facebook Live sessions. Answer all three questions correctly and be entered to win some amazing Zoo prizes!

4. Coloring Pages
Need something to pass the time? Zoo volunteers and photographers Jack and Melanie Bradley have provided us with these coloring sheets to download, print and get creative! Share your completed creations with us on social media by tagging us or sharing on our page. Find coloring sheets here.

5. Engage in Distance Learning
Our Distance Learning Programming gives students in Connecticut and beyond an opportunity to learn about our amazing animals, their remarkable behaviors and more from the Zoo's Animal Care Specialists and Education Department. All without leaving your classrooms or homes! All of our custom classroom video lesson-plans

Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is a wonderful place to visit - alone or with your family. Spend an hour or the whole day and see more than 300 animals representing primarily North and South American species. Come learn about our many endangered and threatened species, which include the Amur (Siberian) tiger, Andean condor, Ocelot, Red wolf, Andean (spectacled) bear, Maned wolf, and Golden lion tamarin.

Come see our South American rainforest with free-flight aviary, then walk through the prairie dog exhibit with "pop-up" viewing areas. Visit the New England Farmyard with goats, cows, pigs, sheep and other barnyard critters. Take a walk along the hoofstock trail featuring bison, pronghorn, deer and more. Before you leave grab a bite at the Peacock Café, eat in the Picnic Grove and take a ride on our colorful carousel. We can't wait to see you!
