Do you think that is too early to begin thinking about college just because you child is only in grades kindergarten (K) through six (6) (or home school equivalent)? College tuition and expenses are rising rapidly - over $20,000 per year just for tuition in many colleges - and parents must plan early to avoid a major financial burden. The Office of State Treasurer and the Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) are please to sponsor The Dream Big! College Fair which is being held to reinforce the importance for children to “dream big” about their futures and to remind parents that even the biggest dreams are not enough to pay college expenses.

The Dream Big! College Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Greater Hartford Classical Magnet School, Hartford, CT.
