Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 3 p.m.


Review of Minutes

Chairman Wallace asked for discussion of the November 15, 2006 GIS Council meeting minutes.  Council member Phelps asked for a change to page number four (4), paragraph two (2) beginning with “Recommendations” to “Recommendations for further discussion”.   No further changes were requested.  Chairman Wallace asked for a motion to accept the meeting minutes.  Council member Commissioner Thomas motioned to accept; Council member Palomba seconded.  All in favor, none opposed.  Motion carried. 



Review of the State of Connecticut Geospatial Information Systems Council Annual Report – 2006, in accordance with section 11-4a of the Connecticut General Statutes. 

Chairman Wallace led council members through each page of the draft report.  All were in agreement to content and format.



New Business

There was no new business.



Council member Gallacher inquired about the upcoming CAP grant.  Project Manager Varney and Council member Fish responded that the priority should be to complete the strategic plan before applying for additional grants.



Chairman Wallace asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Council member Gallacher motioned to adjourn; Council member Kleykamp seconded.  All in favor, none opposed.  Motion carried.
