The Connecticut Fatherhood Initiative(CFI) launches “The Dear Dad Tour” public awareness campaign.



The Dear Dad Tour is a video booth tour throughout the State of Connecticut collecting anecdotal stories from people like you. Stories about Fathers. Once the stories are collected they are shared with the world in the hopes of drawing attention to the important role of fathers and an initiative which aims to strengthen that paternal relationship.

 

The Tour is a collaborative effort of the CFI, the Department of Social Services (DSS) and American View Productions (AVP), a marketing and promotions agency. For 20 years the CFI has been changing the systems that can improve fathers’ ability to be positively involved in the lives of their children. CFI has engaged AVP to create a public awareness campaign. The Dear Dad Tour is that public awareness campaign. A campaign utilizing the great fatherhood stories to bring attention to the activities of the CFI while sharing compelling examples of why fatherhood is so important.
