EV Incentives

CHEAPR is an innovative program offering incentives of up to $5,000 for the purchase of a new electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, right at the dealership!  EVConnecticut also periodically offers EV charging station incentives to municipal and state agencies and private businesses.

There are many other federal and state programs that offer additional incentives to make it that much easier to take charge and drive electric!

CT's EV Commitment

Connecticut's Electric Vehicle Roadmap outlines the State's comprehensive strategy for achieving widespread deployment of electric vehicles in the state.  In addition, Connecticut and nine other states pledged to put 3.3 million EVs on their roads by 2025 and Connecticut joined 17 European and North American governments as founding partners of an international alliance to accelerate global adoption of ZEVs.  Find out more about Connecticut's EV Commitment now!
