Guiderail Upgrade on Route 15 in Wethersfield

 

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 15 southbound in Wethersfield, beginning Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

 

The project consists of upgrading guiderail over a .20 mile segment of Route 15 SB in Wethersfield. This work is anticipated to begin on Route 15 SB in Wethersfield from the Route 314 Overpass to the Junction of SSR 424 on Tuesday August 14, 2018 to Thursday August 16, 2018.

 

This project is included in the Department of Transportationís VIP Safety Improvements Project.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 SB in Wethersfield from the Arched Stone Bridge to the traffic light at the junction of SSR 424.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns and State Police will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for upgrading the guiderail is 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
