Public Information Meeting Regarding Replacement of Bridge 01127 (Route 80/Foxon Road over the Farm River) in North Branford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a public information meeting concerning the proposed replacement of Bridge No. 01127, Route 80 (Foxon Road) over Farm River on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the North Branford Town Hall, Council Chambers, 909 Foxon Road in North Branford, CT. An informal question and answer session will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a formal design presentation at 7:00 p.m.
project is identified as State Project No. 98-101.
primary purpose of this project is to replace the structurally
deficient Bridge No. 01127 which carries Route 80 (Foxon Road) over
the Farm River.
proposed project consists of the design of a new bridge to replace
the existing, including east and west approach roadway improvements.
The new structure will be wider to accommodate a two stage
construction scheme while maintaining an alternating one-way
signalized traffic control system.
