NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that a Milling and Resurfacing project will be performed on Route 127 (White Plains Road) from the Bridgeport City Line to Route 15, Exit 50 (southbound) off ramp, in Trumbull. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Monday, June 30, 2008 and continue through Wednesday, July 9, 2008.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Mondays - Fridays). No work will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2008 or Friday, July 4, 2008 due to the Holiday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
