DEEP: Fishing For Millions Contest

Hints of summer are finally in the air, the waters are warming, and the fish are jumping. While you're out there fishing, would you like to win millions of dollars in cash and prizes?  From May 14 to July 14, anglers fishing in selected Connecticut waters that have been stocked with prize-winning tagged fish may catch THE BIG ONE! CT DEP is partnering with the outdoors retail company Cabela’s and its supporting sponsors for the “Wanna Go Fishing for Millions?” national contest. This contest is being held in states that have Cabela’s retail stores and awards prizes from Cabela's to anglers who catch specially tagged fish and enter the tag number at the Cabela’s website. A total of thirty-three fish were tagged in three water bodies, the Connecticut River, Highland Lake (Winchester) and Mashapaug Lake (Union).
