  Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the State of Connecticut is making available $12.2 million dollars from the legal settlement in the Volkswagen (VW) Corporation emissions cheating scandal to fund ten clean air projects in the state.

  Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police (EnCon) are investigating after a tree contractor was struck and killed by a tree while working in Natchaug State Forest in the area of Pumpkin Hill Road in Chaplin shortly before Noon on November 1st.
