Governor's Welcome

Picture of Governor M. Jodi Rell

Welcome to the Connecticut Helps-Office of Family Support web site. The creation of this web site represents Connecticut’s continued commitment to serving the approximately 200 families throughout the state that lost relatives in the September 11th terrorists’ attack. I encourage you to contact the Connecticut Helps-Office of Family Support with any problems that you might have in accessing state and federal government services, grief or mental health counseling or in obtaining information about benefit programs.

Additionally this Office will coordinate family services around the state and organize memorial observances. Contact DeAnna Paugas Lia at the Office via Email at cthelps@po.state.ct.us or by telephone at 860-550-6637.

Finally, please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance to you. Joining with my fellow citizens throughout the state, I pray that your family will find the promise of peace and hope for a better future.
