Members were pleased with the content of the Councilís Annual Report. Membersí thought that UCE should develop the final product because it has done past annual reports. An ad hoc committee is needed to review the drafts. Mr. Broadbridge and Ms. Baker volunteered. Ms. Langton will send an e-mail members to see if another member would like to review the drafts. Ms. Adamczyk asked to be copied, and she will try to review the various drafts. Ms. Baker and Mr. Morrissette have contributed personal stories for the report. Ms. Carrin thanked Ms. Baker for sharing her story. Ms. Carrin suggested that there could be a link on the council website for stories. Mr. Broadbridge suggested discussing this subject at the upcoming Branding Able Lives meeting.
Discussions on public communications and about talking points for speaking were tabled for discussion at the next meeting.
Ms. Cartland requested the committee develop a draft about the Ashley Xís Treatment for the Council Meeting. After discussion, it was agreed that Ms. Langton will e-mail a rough draft for members to review.
Ms. Baker talked about the difficulty of receiving many e-mails about the Councilís testimonies. Ms. Adamczyk said the executive committee would discuss this issue at their meeting.
