Governor M. Jodi Rell vetoed the following legislation of the 2010 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

 

P.A. 10 -106

s.S.B. 124                              AN ACT CONCERNING LONG ISLAND SOUND, COASTAL PERMITTING AND CERTAIN GROUP FISHING LICENSES AND PERMITS FOR SOLID WASTE FACILITIES

                                               This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedules A and B and would have taken effect as follows:  Sections 1-11 shall take effect October 1, 2010 and Sections 12-16 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor vetoed the bill on June 8, 2010Read the Veto Message

s.S.B. 312                              AN ACT MANDATING THE REGIONALIZATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC SAFETY EMERGENCY TELECOMMUNICATIONS CENTERS AND A STUDY OF CONSOLIDATION

                                               This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on June 8, 2010.

H.B. 5030                         AN ACT CONCERNING THE FORFEITURE OF MONEY AND PROPERTY RELATED TO CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING, THE POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY AND THE SITING OF RESIDENTIAL SEXUAL OFFENDER TREATMENT FACILITIES

                                               This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-3 shall take effect October 1, 2010 and Section 4 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on June 8, 2010.

                                               This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedules A and B and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-14, 17-21, 23-24, 28-29, 31-46, 48-50, 52-53, 59-60, 66-68, 72, 73, 76, 80, and 91-95 shall take effect October 1, 2010; Sections 15-16 shall take effect October 1, 2011; Section 96 shall take effect January 1, 2011; Sections 22, 25-26, 30, 47, 51, 61-62, 64, 69-70, 74-75, 79, and 82-90 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Section 27 shall take effect July 1, 2011 and Sections 54-58, 63, 65, 71, 77-78 and 81 shall take effect July 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on June 8, 2010.

s.S.B. 248                              AN ACT CONCERNING THE REPORTING OF ADVERSE EVENTS AT HOSPITALS AND OUTPATIENT SURGICAL FACILITIES AND ACCESS TO INFORMATION RELATED TO PENDING COMPLAINTS FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

                                               This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedules A and B and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1, 2 and 5 shall take effect July 1, 2010 and Sections 3-4 shall take effect October 1, 2010.   The Governor signed the bill on June 8, 2010.

H.B. 5424                               AN ACT CONCERNING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN MUNICIPALITIES AND BOARDS OF EDUCATION FOR THE JOINT PURCHASE OF EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE AND THE DISCLOSURE OF CERTAIN INFORMATION REGARDING COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY INSURANCE PRODUCERS

                                               This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2010.   The Governor signed the bill on June 8, 2010.

s.H.B. 5253                            AN ACT CONCERNING REVISIONS TO VARIOUS STATUTES CONCERNING THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM

                                               This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-5 shall take effect October 1, 2010; Section 6 shall take effect upon passage and applicable to any offense committed on or after said date and to any offense committed prior to said date for which the statute of limitations in effect at the time of the commission of the offense had not yet expired as of said date; and Section 7 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on June 8, 2010.
