Governor M. Jodi Rell signed the following legislation of the 2010 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

 

 

 

P.A. 10-25

s.S.B.  127                              AN ACT CONCERNING THE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM FOR REDEEMED BEVERAGE CONTAINERS

This Act passed and shall take effect July 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

 

P.A. 10-26

S.B. 137                                  AN ACT CONCERNING THE LEGISLATIVE COMMISSIONERS’ RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TECHNICAL REVISIONS TO THE HUMAN SERVICES STATUTES

This Act passed and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

s.S.B. 133                               AN ACT CONCERNING APPRENTICE TO JOURNEYMEN AND CONTRACTOR RATIOS

This Act passed and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

s.H.B. 5247                             AN ACT CONCERNING COMPETENCY TO STAND TRIAL

This Act passed and shall take effect October 1, 2010. The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

s.H.B. 5249                             AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF CERTAIN DOCUMENTS AND RECORDS IN PSYCHIATRIC SECURITY REVIEW BOARD PROCEEDINGS

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2010. The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

H.B. 5252                                AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRETRIAL ALCOHOL EDUCATION PROGRAM AND THE PRETRIAL DRUG EDUCATION PROGRAM

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect July 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

H.B. 5281                                AN ACT CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO THE CONNECTICUT UNIFORM PRINCIPAL AND INCOME ACT

This Act passed and shall take effect October 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

 

P.A. 10-32

s.H.B. 5376                             AN ACT CONCERNING THE REVISOR’S TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS TO THE GENERAL STATUTES

This Act passed as and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-128; 130; and 132-165 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; and Sections 129 and 131 shall take effect January 5, 2010. The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

H.B. 5377                                AN ACT ADOPTING THE UNIFORM UNSWORN FOREIGN DECLARATIONS ACT

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

s.H.B. 5406                             AN ACT CONCERNING THE COURTS OF PROBATE

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-4 and 6-9 shall take effect October 1, 2010; Sections 5 and 10-11 shall take effect January 5, 2011.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

H.B. 5530                                AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONNECTICUT BUSINESS CORPORATION ACT

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.

           

P.A. 10-36

H.B. 5542                                AN ACT MAKING MINOR, TECHNICAL AND CONFORMING CHANGES TO CERTAIN STATUTES CONCERNING CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW AND PROCEDURE

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-2 and 4-32 shall take effect July 1, 2010 and Section 3 shall take effect October 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 10, 2010.
