Governor M. Jodi Rell vetoed the following legislation of the 2010 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

H.B. 5011                                AN ACT EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE FOR CERTAIN INTERLOCAL RISK MANAGEMENT POOLS

This Act passed and would have taken effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor vetoed the bill on May 6, 2010Read Veto Message

 

                                               

Governor M. Jodi Rell signed the following legislation of the 2010 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

s.H.B.  5002                            AN ACT CONCERNING PREMIUM QUOTES AND INFORMATION FOR SMALL EMPLOYER HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect January 1, 2011.  The Governor signed the bill on May 5, 2010.

H.B. 5006                                AN ACT CONCERNING THE LEGISLATIVE COMMISSIONERS’ RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TECHNICAL REVISIONS AND MINOR CHANGES TO THE INSURANCE AND RELATED STATUTES

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect  as follows: Sections 1-19; 22; 25-26; 30; and 33-57 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; sections 20-21; 23-24; 27-29 and 31-32 shall take effect January 1, 2011 and section 58 shall take effect from passage and applicable to commercial leases entered, renewed, modified or extended on or after the effective date of this section.  The Governor signed the bill on May 5, 2010.

s.H.B. 5014                             AN ACT CONCERNING AUTOMOBILE AND PERSONAL RISK INSURANCE

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1; 3-4; and 7-8 shall take effect January 1, 2011; section 2 shall take effect July 1, 2011 and sections 5-6 shall take effect October 1, 2010.   The Governor signed the bill on May 5, 2010.

H.B. 5024                                AN ACT CONCERNING AN EDUCATION DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAM IN NURSING EDUCATION

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill. The Governor signed the bill on May 5, 2010.

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 5, 2010.

H.B. 5265                                AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXPIRATION OF DRIVER’S LICENSES ISSUED TO MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES

This Act passed as and shall take effect October 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on May 5, 2010.

s.H.B. 5303                             AN ACT REQUIRING REPORTING OF CERTAIN HEALTH INSURANCE CLAIMS DENIAL DATA

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows: Section 1 shall take effect July 1, 2010 and section 2 shall take effect January 1, 2011.  The Governor signed the bill on May 5, 2010.

s.H.B. 5235                             AN ACT REQUIRING THE PROVIDING OF CERTAIN INFORMATION UPON CERTAIN DENIALS OF HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE
