Governor M. Jodi Rell vetoed the following legislation of the 2009 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

 

P.A. 09-202

s.S.B. 1033                             AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR GREEN BUILDINGS

This Act passed with effective dates as follows: Section 1 July 1, 2009, and applicable to income years commencing on or after January 1, 2012 and Sections 2 and 3 July 1, 2009.  The Governor vetoed the bill on July 9, 2009.   READ THE VETO MESSAGE

s.H.B. 5211                             AN ACT CONCERNING LOCAL SHELLFISH COMMISSIONS AND THE TRANSFER OF COMMERCIAL FISHING LICENSES

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect July 1, 2009 and Section 2 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

s.H.B. 6041                             AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL ASSESSMENTS AND ASSESSMENT APPEALS

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedules A, B, C and D and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect October 1, 2009; Sections 2-3 shall take effect October 1, 2009 and applicable to assessment years commencing on or after October 1, 2009; and Sections 4-6 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

H.B. 6523                                AN ACT CONCERNING LICENSING OF ADOLESCENT SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT FACILITIES AND MATERNITY HOMES

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect July 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

s.H.B. 6552                             AN ACT CONCERNING BANNING THE POSSESSION OF POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ANIMALS AND THE IMPORTATION, POSSESSION AND LIBERATION OF CERTAIN WILD ANIMALS, ALLOWING THE IMPORTATION OF REINDEER AND BANNING INTERNET HUNTING

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1, 2 and 4 shall take effect October 1, 2009 and Section 3 shall take effect July 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

S.B. 931                                  AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALES TAX LIABILITY OF ASPHALT MANUFACTURERS

This Act passed and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

s.S.B. 1031                             AN ACT CONCERNING MURDER AND INHERITANCE

This Act passed and shall take effect October 1, 2009. The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

s.S.B. 47                                 AN ACT CONCERNING CONTRACTS BETWEEN HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AND CONTRACTING HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect January 1, 2010 and Section 2 shall take effect July 1, 2010.   The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

s.S.B. 877                               AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PROGRAM REVIEW AND INVESTIGATIONS COMMITTEE CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect July 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

s.S.B. 1048                             AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH CARE COST CONTROL INITIATIVES

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedules A and B and House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect July 1, 2009; Section. 2 shall take effect January 1, 2010 and Section 3 shall take effect October 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on July 8, 2009.

s.S.B. 949                               AN ACT CONCERNING MORTGAGE PRACTICES

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-4 and Section 6 shall take effect October 1, 2009 and Sections 5, 7 and 8 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on July 7, 2009.

s.S.B. 950                               AN ACT CONCERNING CONSUMER CREDIT LICENSEES

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1, 5, 15-27, 29-33, and 36 – 42 shall take effect October 1, 2009 and Sections 2 -4, 6 -14, 28 and 34-35 shall take effect upon passage which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on July 7, 2009.

s.S.B. 948                               AN ACT CONCERNING IMPLEMENTATION OF THE S.A.F.E. MORTGAGE LICENSING ACT, THE EMERGENCY MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, FORECLOSURE PROCEDURES AND TECHNICAL REVISIONS TO THE BANKING STATUTES

This Act passed as amended by Senate and House Amendment Schedules A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-23

and 26 shall take effect July 31, 2009; Sections 24-25, 30, 32-33, 37-38, 41 and 42-43 shall take effect October 1, 2009; Sections 27-29 and 34-36 shall take effect July 1, 2009 and Sections 31,

39 and 40 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day

the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on

July 9, 2009.
