Governor M. Jodi Rell vetoed the following bills of the 2009 Regular Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

P.A. 09-135

s.H.B. 6531                             AN ACT CLARIFYING POSTCLAIMS UNDERWRITING

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A with an effective date of October 1, 2009.  The Governor vetoed the bill on June 22, 2009.

S.B. 3                                      AN ACT PROHIBITING THE ACQUISITION OR USE OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND AS ASH RESIDUE DISPOSAL AREAS AND CONCERNING THE OPERATION OF A FOOD-WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedules

A and B and would have taken effect upon passage. The Governor vetoed the bill on June 23, 2009.
