Governor M. Jodi Rell signed the following legislation of the 2009 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

 

 

P.A. 09-123

s.H.B.  5019                            AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF CERTAIN PRESCRIPTION DRUG HISTORY AS AN UNDERWRITING TOOL TO DENY INDIVIDUAL HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect January 1, 2010.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

s.H.B.  5433                            AN ACT CLARIFYING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR STEPCHILDREN

This Act passed and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

s.H.B.  5669                            AN ACT CONCERNING EMPLOYER HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUM PAYMENTS FOR TERMINATED EMPLOYEES

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

sH.B. 6114                              AN ACT CONCERNING DISCLOSURE OF HISTORIC DISTRICT DESIGNATIONS AND LEASED ITEMS TO PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY

This Act passed and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

s.H.B.  6328                            AN ACT CONCERNING CUSTOMER ACCESS TO RESTROOMS IN RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

s.S.B. 760                                AN ACT CONCERNING SCHOOL CRISIS RESPONSE DRILLS AND FIRE DRILLS

This Act passed and shall take effect October 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

H.B.  6358                               AN ACT CONCERNING ADDITIONAL OFF-TRACK BETTING BRANCH FACILITIES

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

H.B.  6391                               AN ACT CONCERNING REVISIONS TO THE HIV TESTING CONSENT LAW

This Act passed and shall take effect July 1, 2009.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

H.B.  6448                               AN ACT CONCERNING DISCLOSURE OF INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS IN EQUIPMENT LEASES

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1 and 3 shall take effect October 1, 2009 and applicable to consumer leases entered, renewed, modified or extended on or after October 1, 2009 and Section 2 shall take effect October 1, 2009. The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.

s.H.B.  6540                            AN ACT CONCERNING PRESCRIPTION EYE DROP REFILLS

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect January 1, 2010.   The Governor signed the bill on June 18, 2009.
