Governor M. Jodi Rell signed, IN THE ORIGINAL, the following bill of the January 2008 Special Session, on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

S.B. 1700

LCO 10072                             AN ACT CONCERNING CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-6

shall take effect March 1, 2008; Sections 7– 40, and 42-43 shall

take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Section 41 shall take effect October 1, 2008 and Section 44

shall take effect July 1, 2008.  The Governor signed the bill on January 25, 2008 at 2:15 p.m.
