Governor M. Jodi Rell signed, IN THE ORIGINAL, the following bills of the 2007 Special Session on the date indicated after the title of the bills:
H.B. 8001
LCO 9697 AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATE BUDGET FOR THE BIENNIUM ENDING JUNE 30, 2009 AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS THEREFOR
This Act passed as amended by House Amendments A (LCO 9747) and B (LCO 9750) and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-20, 22-35; 37-50; 52-91; 93-95; 97; 99-118; 120-122; 126-128; 130-133; and 135-153 shall take effect July 1, 2007; Sections 21, 36, 92, 96, 98, 119, 123, 129, 134, and 154 shall take effect upon passage, which
is the day the Governor signed the bill; Section 51 shall take effect
July 1, 2008; Section 124 shall take effect July 1, 2007 and applicable to sales occurring on or after July 1, 2007; and Section 125 shall take effect July 1, 2007 and applicable to the storage or use of unstamped cigarettes occurring on or after July 1, 2007. The Governor signed the bill on June 26, 2007 at 3:17 p.m.

LCO 9698 AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE BUDGET CONCERNING HUMAN SERVICES AND PUBLIC HEALTH.
This Act passed shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-20, 22, 24, 26-29, 44-45, 59, 61-63, 66, 68, and 70-72 shall take effect on July 1, 2007; Sections 21, 25, 67, and 69 shall take effect from passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Sections 23 and 46 shall take effect on July 1, 2008; Sections 30-31, 34-43, 47, 49, 53-58, and 60 shall take effect on October 1, 2007; Sections 32-33 shall take effect on April 1, 2008; Sections 48, 50-52, and 64-65 shall
take effect on January 1, 2009. The Governor signed the bill on
June 26, 2007 at 3:17 p.m.

LCO 9740 AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE BUDGET CONCERNING EDUCATION.
This Act passed shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-19, 24-37, 40-49, 51, 53-54, and 60-65 shall take effect on July 1, 2007; Sections 20-23, 38-39, 50, 52, and 55-59 shall take effect from passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill. The Governor signed the bill on June 26, 2007 at 3:19 p.m.
