This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect July 1, 2007.  The Governor vetoed the bill on June 26, 2007.

s.S.B. 167                               AN ACT REVISING THE PROCESS FOR THE TAKING OF REAL PROPERTY BY MUNICIPALITIES FOR REDEVELOPMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REVISING THE PROCESS FOR PROVIDING RELOCATION ASSISTANCE FOR OUTDOOR ADVERTISING STRUCTURES ACQUIRED BY THE COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-2, 4, 7-9, 12, and 18-20 shall take effect from passage and applicable to property acquired on or after said date; Section 3 shall take effect from passage and applicable to property acquired on or after said date, and applicable to development plans adopted on or after said date

Sections 5-6 shall take effect October 1, 2007, and applicable to redevelopment plans adopted on or after said date; Sections 10-11shall take effect October 1, 2007, and applicable to development plans adopted on or after said date; Sections 13 -15 shall take effect October 1, 2007, and applicable to property acquired on or after said date; Section 16 shall take effect from passage and applicable to applications filed on or after said date; Sections 17 and 22 shall take effect from passage which is the day the Governor signed the bill; and Section 21 shall take effect October 1, 2007.  The Governor signed the bill on June 25, 2007.

s.S.B. 1106                             AN ACT CONCERNING PROCEDURES FOR THE HEARING OF COMPLAINTS AGAINST STATE CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS BY THE COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS AND OPPORTUNITIES AND THE DOCUMENTATION OF NONDISCRIMINATION POLICIES ADOPTED BY STATE CONTRACTORS

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-8 and section 11 shall take effect July 1, 2007; Sections 9 -10 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on June 25, 2007.
