File No. 716                             AN ACT CONCERNING MOTION PICTURE TAX CREDITS

This Act passed as amended and shall take effect as outlined below:

Sections 1 and 2 July 1, 2007, and applicable to income years commencing on or after January 1, 2007; Section 3 July 1, 2007, and applicable to sales occurring on or after July 1, 2007; Section 4 July 1, 2007, and applicable to the storage or use of unstamped cigarettes occurring on or after July 1, 2007; Sections 5, 7-8, 13-14, 21, 24 and 27-40 July 1, 2007; Section 6 July 1, 2007, and applicable to the estates of decedents who die on or after January 1, 2007; Section 9 July 1, 2007, and applicable to sales occurring on and after July 1, 2007; Sections 10 and 15-20 shall take effect from passage; Sections 11 and 12 July 1, 2007, and applicable to sales occurring on or after July 1, 2007; Section 22 July 1, 2007, and applicable to calendar years commencing on or after January 1, 2007; Section 23

July 1, 2007, and applicable to taxable years commencing on or after January 1, 2007; Section 25 July 1, 2007, and applicable to taxable years commencing on or after January 1, 2007; Section 26 July 1, 2007, and applicable to taxable years commencing on or after January 1, 2007 and Section 41 July 1, 2007, and applicable to sales occurring on or after July 1, 2007.

The Governor vetoed the bill on May 31, 2007.
