This act passed and shall take effect July 1, 2006.  The Governor signed the bill on June 9, 2006.

s.H.B. 5605                              AN ACT CONCERNING UNIFORM TREATMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES WITH RESPECT TO PROPERTY TAX DELINQUENCIES AND CONCERNING ASSESSMENT OF APARTMENT AND RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY AFTER REVALUATION

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill and applicable to assessment years of municipalities commencing on or after October 1, 2006; Section 2 shall take effect July 1, 2006 and applicable to assessment years commencing on or after October 1, 2006 and Section 3 shall take effect July 1, 2006 and applicable to assessment years commencing on or after October 1, 2010.  The Governor signed the bill on June 7, 2006.

and shall take effect as follows: Sections 1-2, 4-8 and 11-13 shall take effect July 1, 2006; Section 9 shall take effect October 1, 2006; and Sections 3 and 10 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on June 9, 2006.

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedules A and B and House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect July 1, 2006 and Sections 2-9 shall take effect October 1, 2006.  The Governor signed the bill on June 9, 2006.

s.S.B. 602                                 AN ACT ALLOWING PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR CERTAIN LATE FILERS, VALIDATING ACTIONS BY CERTAIN TOWNS, THE JOINT EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE AND THE CONNECTICUT STAT UNIVERSITY SYSTEM, CLARIFYING APPROVAL PROCEDURES FOR THE PURCHASE OF STATE LAND AND THE URBAN AND INDUSTRIAL SITE REINVESTMENT PROGRAM, AND AMENDING A PROGRAM PROVIDING TAX CREDITS FOR BUSINESS EMPLOYMENT EXPANSION PROJECTS

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-16

and section 23 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day

the Governor signed the bill; Sections 17-19 shall take effect

October 1, 2006 and Sections 20-22 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill and applicable to projects with a commencement date on or after September 1, 2005.  The Governor signed the bill on June 7, 2006.

This Act passed and shall take effect July 1, 2006.  The Governor signed the bill on June 7, 2006.

s.H.B. 5814                              AN ACT CONCERNING THE BONDING PROCESS, CONFIDENTIALITY OF TAX RETURN INFORMATION, LOANS FOR MOBILE MANUFACTURED HOMES, VARIOUS TAXES ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE SERVICES, CREATION OF A SPECIAL DISTRICT IN DERBY, TAXATION OF LAND PURCHASED FROM THE STATE BY A TOWN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A HIGHWAY RAILROAD CROSSING

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-6, 9, 18, 23 and 25 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Sections 7-8, 10-16, 22 and 24 shall take effect July 1, 2006; and Section 17 shall take effect upon passage and applicable to taxes payable on or after said date; Sections 19 and 20 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill and applicable to gifts made during calendar years commencing on or after January 1, 2006; and Section 21 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill and applicable to taxes due for calendar years commencing on or after January 1,2005.   The Governor signed the bill on June 9, 2006.

s.H.B. 317                                AN ACT CONCERNING REVISIONS TO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH STATUTES

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-3, 7-13, 17, 20-22, 24-29, 36-39, 41, 44, 48, 52, 54-55, 59-83, 85 and 87 shall take effect October 1, 2006; Sections 4-5, 14-16, 18-19, 30-35, 40, 42-43, 45-47, 49-51, 53, 56-58 and 86 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; and Sections 6, 23 and 84 shall take effect July 1,2006.   The Governor signed the bill on June 7, 2006.

s.H.B. 5820                              AN ACT CONCERNING THE REVISOR’S TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS AND CERTAIN OTHER CHANGES TO THE GENERAL STATUES, THE 2006 SUPPLEMENT TO THE GENERAL STATUES AND CERTAIN PUBLIC ACTS

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-54,

57-59, 62-286, 290-292, 294, 296 and 299 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Sections

287-289, 293 and 295 shall take effect July 1, 2006; Sections

55-56 and 60-61 shall take effect December 31, 2006 and applicable to elections held on or after said date; Sections 297-298 shall take effect October 1, 2006 and applicable to assessment years commencing on or after October 1, 2005 and Sections 287-289, 293 and 295 shall take effect July 1, 2006.  The Governor signed the bill on June 7, 2006.
