Governor M. Jodi Rell vetoed the following legislation of the 2006 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

 

P.A. 06-71

s.S.B. 4                                   AN ACT PROVIDING CERTAIN ADULT ADOPTED PERSONS WITH ACCESS TO INFORMATION IN THEIR ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect October 1, 2006.   The Governor vetoed the bill on May 31, 2006.

s.S.B. 20                                 AN ACT CONCERNING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF SPECIAL ACT 01-1

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-3 shall take effect January 1, 2007 and Section 4 shall take effect July 1, 2006.  The Governor signed the bill on May 30, 2006.

s.H.B. 5750                             AN ACT CONCERNING THE APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL CONSERVATION OFFICERS

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on May 30, 2006.

This Act passed and shall take effect October 1, 2006.   The Governor signed the bill on May 30, 2006.

s.S.B. 285                               AN CONCERNING PERSONAL WATERCRAFT AND CHILDREN, REVISIONS TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION STATUTES, LAKE PATROLMEN AND THE APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL CONSERVATION OFFICERS

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedules A, B and C and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-26 and section 31 shall take effect October 1, 2006; Sections 27-29 shall take effect October 1, 2007 and Section 30 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on May 30, 2006.
