Governor M. Jodi Rell signed the following legislation of the 2006 Session on the date indicated after the title of the bill:

P.A. 06-187

H.B. 5846                                AN ACT CONCERNING GENERAL BUDGET AND REVENUE IMPLEMENTATION PROVISIONS

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Section 18 shall take effect June 1, 2006; Sections 1-11, 14-15, 17, 20-21, 27-43, 65-66, 73-74, 77-79, 81-83, 88-96 and 98 shall take effect July 1, 2006; Sections 12-13, 16, 22, 46-51, 63-64, 67-69, 72, 80 and 97 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Section 19 shall take effect from passage and applicable to projects with a commencement date on or after September 1, 2005; Sections 23-26, 44-45, 52-62, 70, 75-76, 84-87 and 99 shall take effect October 1, 2006 and Section 71 shall take effect January 3, 2007. The Governor signed the bill on May 26, 2006.

S.B. 703                                  AN ACT CONCERNING SOCIAL SERVICES AND PUBLIC HEALTH BUDGET IMPLEMENTATION PROVISIONS

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendments Schedules A and B and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-13, 15-27, 31, 36-39, 44, 46, and 49-53 shall take effect July 1, 2006; Sections 14, 32, 40-43, 45, 47, and 54-55 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Sections 28-30, 33-35 and 48 shall take effect October 1, 2006.  The Governor signed the bill on May 26, 2006.
