s.H.B. 6746                             AN ACT CONCERNING THE CANCELLATION OR REVOCATION OF THE CERTIFICATION OF POLICE OFFICERS AND THE CONDITIONS FOR THE REINSTATEMENT OF POLICE OFFICERS UPON RETURN FROM INTERNATIONAL PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect October 1, 2005; and Section 2 shall take effect upon passage, which is the

day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on

July 6, 2005.

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1-23, 28-31 and 37-46 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill; Sections 24-27 and 35-36 shall take effect July 1, 2005; Sections 32-34 shall take effect October 1, 2005; and Section 47 shall take effect upon the effective date of legislation enacted by the state of New York having like effect as this section.  The Governor signed the bill on July 6, 2005.

This Act passed as amended by House Amendment Schedule A

and shall take effect as follows:  Sections 1 and 3-5 shall take effect October 1, 2005; Section 2 shall take effect October 1, 2005 and applicable to any suspension of an operator’s license on or after October 1, 2000; Section 6 shall take effect January 1, 2006 and Section 7 shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor signed the bill on July 6, 2005.
