Governor M. Jodi Rell vetoed the following bills of the 2005 Legislative Session on the date indicated after the title of the bills:

S.B. 801                                  AN ACT CONCERNING LEGISLATIVE REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF WAIVER APPLICATIONS PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

This Act passed and shall take effect July 1, 2005. The Governor vetoed the bill on June 24, 2005.

S.B. 846                                  AN ACT CONCERNING IMPACT STATEMENTS FOR REDUCTIONS IN STATE SERVICES

This Act passed as amended by Senate Amendment Schedule A and shall take effect upon passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill.  The Governor vetoed the bill on June 24, 2005.

s.S.B. 1265                             AN ACT CONCERNING PENALTIES FOR FAILURE TO REPORT LISTED TRANSACTIONS

This Act passed and shall take effect as follows:  Section 1 shall take effect from passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill, and applicable to any open tax period; Section 2 effective from passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill, and applicable to income years commencing on or after January 1, 2005; Sections 3 and 4 effective from passage, which is the day the Governor signed the bill, and applicable to taxable years commencing on or after January 1, 2005.  The Governor signed the bill on June 24, 2005.
