BY HIS EXCELLENCY

JOHN G. ROWLAND

GOVERNOR

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. FIFTEEN

        I, John G. Rowland, Governor of the State of Connecticut, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and by the statutes of the State, do hereby ORDER AND DIRECT:

        In accordance with the provisions of Section 27-19 of the Connecticut General Statutes, Brigadier General William A. Cugno is appointed the Adjutant General and Chief of Staff, with the rank of Major General, effective June 1, 1999, to fill the vacancy for the unexpired portion of the term ending June 30, 2002, or until a successor is appointed and qualified, in succession to vice Major General David W. Gay.

        The Adjutant General is charged with the promulgation of this order to all concerned.

        This order shall take effect on June 1, 1999.

Dated at Hartford, Connecticut, this 14th day of April, 1999.
