Connecticut Teachers' Retirement Board is holding open enrollment for Health Plan Subscribers in the month of October, 2009 for coverage to become effective January 1, 2010.  Subscribers have the opportunity to make changes in their health benefits plan during the open enrollment period.  The TRB Sponsored Health Plan Open Enrollment Packet (PDF 289KB) was mailed to all subscribers in October, 2009 and all change forms are due no later than November 15, 2009.

The new rates for coverage effective January 1, 2010 will be reflected in the payment dated December 31, 2009.  The Medicare Supplement with Prescriptions will be $112.00 monthly per individual.  The Medicare Supplement with Prescriptions and Dental will be $160.00 monthly per individual.  The Medicare Supplement with Prescriptions and Dental, Vision & Hearing will be $165.00 monthly per individual. 

PLEASE NOTE: The Teachers’ Retirement Board Pharmacy Benefit Manager will not be MEDCO after February 2010. The Board is in the process of selecting a new vendor. The deductible will be administered concurrent with the change in vendors. You will receive a new member package and new prescription cards from the selected vendor.
