| | Teen drivers’ parents attending the state's new two-hour required driver training session for parents reported the program as overwhelmingly beneficial and has led them to adopt new safety measures with their young drivers.
The federally funded survey showed 85 of the parents reported that the training gave them more information to use in their parenting responsibilities with a teen driver. They also said (82 percent) they would recommend these classes to parents of other teen drivers. |
