| | The Department of Motor Vehicles, Allstate Insurance and other partners in safe teen driving teamed up today to offer some high school students a glimpse of the serious consequences of distracted driving as both prom time gets underway and the summer driving season approaches when school ends.
Driving professionals who teach safe practices when behind the wheel set up a course in the Rocky Hill High School parking lot to show students how accidents can happen easily while having rowdy passengers, sending text messages, talking on a cell phone, eating and listening to loud music.
