 Is registering as a New User required?


Yes.  In order to use SEEC Online Secure Applications, you must first sign up with us.  It's a one-time process that only takes a few minutes of your time.

 How to Create an Account?
Choosing a user name


Choose a User Name you can easily remember.  The following requirements help ensure that your User Name is unique and secure. 

Your User Name must be 4 - 50 characters in length.

Your User Name must be unique.

Your User Name is not case sensitive.

NOTE:  If you try to create an account with a User Name that does not meet these requirements or that is already taken, you will be prompted to try again.

 Choosing a Password / Confirm Password / Password Tips


Having a secure password is especially important in order to keep your information confidential.  The following requirements and tips help ensure that your password is not compromised:


Requirements:

Your Password must be 8 - 50 characters in length and MUST contain at least one special character (e.g. %, @, _, $, #).Your password is case sensitive.  Please be aware of this fact when entering it during login.


Tips:

  • Do not use common words as passwords.
  • Do not base your password on personal information that is publicly available.
  • Include a healthy mix of letters and numbers.
  • Select a password that you can remember but is hard to guess for others.
  • Change your password periodically and whenever you suspect that it is not secret.
  • Do not share your password with anyone - even with SEEC staff.
  • Always log out when you are finished using SEEC Online Secure Application site and close the browser window.

 Provide an E-mail Address


Enter a valid e-mail address where you can be contacted.
  A confirmation of your account creation will be sent to the email address you provided during sign up.

 Provide a Phone Number

Enter a phone number where you can be contacted during the business hours.  Use (999) 999-9999 format to specify the phone number.
 
 Choose a Security Question and Answer it

Select a Security question from the drop down list.  Enter the answer to the security question in the Security Answer text box.
 
 Click on the Create User button


If the page reappears with "asterisk" next to the text boxes, hover over the asterisk to view the error message.  Make necessary corrections as many times as necessary until you reach the Create an Account Confirmation page.

 What to do if you forget your User Name


If you have already created an account and forgotten your User Name or have a new e-mail address, contact SEEC IT Services professional at (860) 256-2940 (Monday - Friday except holidays, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., EST).

 What to do if you forget your Password


In the event you forget your Password, complete the following steps:

  • Click on Forgot Your Password? link on the Log In screen.
  • Enter the answer to your Security Phrase / Question and click Submit.
  • Select a new password and re-enter it for verification.  Click Submit.
  • You will then receive confirmation (both on-screen and via e-mail) that your password has been successfully changed.  To proceed to the Application Home page, click continue.
