Providing information to private citizens, civic groups and other interested parties concerning eminent domain law and their rights with respect to such law.
The Office of Ombudsman for Property Rights is authorized to apply for and receive grants, gifts and bequests of funds from other states, federal and interstate agencies and independent authorities and private firms, individuals and foundations for the purpose of carrying out the responsibilities of the Office.
The Office of Ombudsman is interested in establishing educational programs that will provide information concerning eminent domain, its history, uses and procedures to high school, college and graduate level students.
