The Town of Washington Resident Trooper Office/ Regional School District 12 is seeking applicants, for a School Resource Officer.  Selected individuals will be a sworn Officer in the Towns of Bridgewater, Roxbury and Washington.  Pay range will be between $27- $30 per hour, consisting of a 40 hour work week.  This position will be a minimum of 190 days, adhering to the Region 12 school calendar.  Applicants must possess a current CT POSTC certification, or a recently retired Connecticut State Police eligible to obtain POSTC certification.  Applicants must also pass an extensive background investigation and all other POSTC lateral certification requirements. The City of West Haven announces an open recruitment seeking POST Certified Officers for the position of Police Officer.  Candidates should be in good standing with their current department.  Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written examination, drug screening, thorough background investigation, polygraph, psychological, oral interview and medical examination.  Officers with three or more years of experience will have a shortened one year probationary period.
