Subject: Police Academy Building Restrictions

The construction of the Connecticut Police Academy will be concluding in the very near future.  In order to maintain our building, it is imperative that we require all police training participants to adhere to a new policy which stipulates the following:

Effective immediately there will be no food or beverages allowed in any Connecticut  Police Academy classroom or hallway. POSTC instructors and class coordinators will inform all police training participants at the beginning of each training session and enforce this policy across-the-board. All adjunct instructors will be required to abide by the policy. This policy affects all levels of police and civilian personnel assigned to training classes including state, municipal and protective service personnel and any other guest agency utilizing our facility. It does not apply to Connecticut Police Academy employees.

Any departure must have prior approval of one of the two signatories.
