Dear Friends of the Connecticut Law Enforcement Community,

First, we want to thank you and your organization for the tremendous support you have shown over the years. Because of your commitment and involvement, we have been able to build and maintain the beautiful memorial at the Connecticut Police Academy.  The memorial will always be a tribute to the many men and women, local, state and federal, whom have paid the ultimate sacrifice in order that the citizens of their community and the state could continue to have the freedoms we tend to take for granted.

This year, the annual memorial dinner will be held on Monday, May 8th, beginning at 6:30 PM, at the Aqua Turf in Southington, Connecticut. There will be a cash bar open from 5-6:30 PM just before the dinner. We know your organization realizes how important it is to remember our 140 fallen officers and their families.  We do expect that many family members of the law enforcement personnel who have lost their son, daughter, spouse, father or mother in the line of duty will be in attendance.

In order to plan for this very special occasion, enclosed is an announcement and a reservation form.  We ask you send back the reservation form to us as soon as possible.  We have held the cost of the dinner to the same amount for the last year despite the increase charged by the Aqua Turf, in an effort to make sure that we will continue to have a great turnout.  Hope to see you on May 8th.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors of the Connecticut Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation
