Child Poverty and Prevention Council

The state established a Child Poverty and Prevention Council, in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 4-67x, to develop and promote the implementation of a ten-year plan to reduce the number of children living in poverty in the state by fifty percent and to establish prevention goals and recommendations and measure prevention service outcomes in order to promote the health and well-being of children and families.
