NOTICE OF PROGRAM CLOSING

Connecticut’s State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP) will be closed to new applications as of July 15, 2010.  It is anticipated that all program funding will be committed to appliance purchases made on or before July 15, 2010.  Applications for appliances purchased on or before July 15, 2010 will be reviewed in the order in which they are received and eligible applications will be issued a rebate within available program funds.  Even if an appliance was purchased before July 15, 2010, rebate payments are still subject to availability of program funds.

 

Processing of a rebate application may take up to 8 weeks from the time it arrives at the rebate fulfillment center.  You will be notified by mail if you are not eligible for a rebate due to incomplete information on your application or if the funds have been exhausted.

 

Rebate applications for appliances purchased after July 15, 2010 will not be accepted for review and will not be processed.

 

If you have questions, or for further information, call the Rebate Program line at 1-877-WISE-USE during the hours of 9:00 AM through 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM through 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

REBATE PROGRAM INFORMATION

 

Overview

The State of Connecticut received $3.4 million for the State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP) from the Department of Energy (DOE).  The program runs from January 25 - July 15, 2010. 

 

Eligibility

The rebates are available to consumers for qualified appliances installed in Connecticut residences.  Appliances must be a replacement of an existing appliance in order to qualify, subject to availability of funds.

Federal Reporting
