Office of Responsible Growth

The Office of Responsible Growth was established to coordinate state efforts to revitalize cities, preserve the unique charm of our state and build livable, economically strong communities while protecting our natural resources for the enjoyment of future generations.

Additional Programs and Responsibilities

Preparation of the State Plan of Conservation and Development
Reviews State agency plans, projects, and bonding requests for consistency with the State Plan of Conservation and Development
Housing for Economic Growth Program coordination
Connecticut Environmental Policy Act coordination
Neighborhood Revitalization Zone Program coordination
Facilitation of interagency coordination in matters involving land and water resources and infrastructure improvements.
