The Office of Policy and Management and the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee support comprehensive programs designed to combat underage drinking.  Grantees receive training and technical assistance from the Governor's Prevention Partnership, Mothers Against Drunk Driving-CT (MADD-CT) and the Liquor Control Division of the Department of Consumer ProtectionAnother initiative called “SetTheRulesCTis a statewide media campaign educating parents and adults about Connecticut’s Social Host Law and the impact of alcohol on teenage brain development.  Additional links for underage drinking are listed below.

Combating Underage Drinking Awards for FY 2012/2013 As of June 2012, the JJAC made awards to 2 agencies totaling $141,000 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2012/2013. 

Combating Underage Drinking Awards for FY 2011/2012 As of June 2011, the JJAC made awards to 2 agencies totaling $167,500 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2011/2012. 

Combating Underage Drinking Awards for FY 2010/2011 As of June 2010, the JJAC made awards to 5 agencies totaling $409,260 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2010/2011.

Combating Underage Drinking Awards for FY 2008/2009  As of August 2008, the JJAC made awards to 6 agencies totaling $419,260 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2008/2009. 

Combating Underage Drinking Awards for FY 2007/2008  As of July 2007, the JJAC made awards to 4 agencies totaling $380,000 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2007/2008.

As of July 2006, the JJAC made awards to 3 agencies totaling $320,000 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2006/2007.

As of July 2005, the JJAC has 16 active awards totaling $1,350,803 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2005/2006.

As of November 2004, the JJAC made 11 awards totaling $1,280,000 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2004/2005.

As of October 2003, the JJAC has 26 active awards totaling $1,289,528 in the combating underage drinking category for fiscal year 2003/2004.
