Crime Victim Policy and Planning Projects

OPM collaborates with other government agencies, non-profit advocacy organizations and related public organizations to develop initiatives focused on reducing re-victimization and improving the criminal justice response to violent crimes.  OPM does not provide direct victim services but contracts with non-profit and public organizations to provide services as part of Specialized Policy Demonstration Projects focused on domestic violence and sexual assault crime victims. Funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Office of Violence Against Women, the Office of Justice Programs and the Connecticut General Fund.
