Families in Crisis, Inc. (FIC) helps at-risk children, offenders and their families learn how to constructively succeed as individuals, as members of a family and as members of our society. We provide specialized services that strengthen families, enhance community safety and promote individual responsibility.

National Association of Counsel for Children
The National Association of Counsel for Children’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families by ensuring that these proceedings produce justice. Specifically, our mission is to:

Judicial Branch Mediation Program (Adobe PDF File)
Child protection mediation is a voluntary, non-adversarial dispute resolution program. The program is designed to expand on existing conferencing models, which include Order of Temporary Custody and Termination of Parental Rights case management conferences and case status conferences.

National Court Appointed Special Advocates
The mission of the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with its state and local members, is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every abused or neglected child can be safe, establish permanence and have the opportunity to thrive.
