Instructions for downloading the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader Plug-in

Join the millions of people who have enhanced their communications with Adobe Acrobat! Download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print PDF files on all major computer platforms.

Click on the Get Acrobat Reader icon at the top of this page, and you will be brought directly to the Adobe Software FREE download page.

This page contains an easy three-in-one procedure to assure that you download the correct version for your computer system.

1. Select an Acrobat Reader version.

You will choose the Language, Operating System Platform, and Location nearest you.

2. Which area are you most interested in? (required)

You will click on your choice and enter your e-mail address.

3. Now download and install - it's just that easy!

The file size to be downloaded will be displayed (e.g. 4.7MB) and you will click the "Download" button.

After you click "download" to begin downloading Acrobat Reader, your browser may bring up a "security information" screen. This is a precautionary measure to verify that you are aware that you are about to download some form of data onto your computer.

Click the "continue" button.

Next, your computer will either automatically download the file to your pre-selected download folder, or it will ask you where you would like to save the file. Be sure to note the file location for installation after downloading is complete.
Depending on your connection speed, a 4.7MB file can take up to 20 minutes with a modem, much less with an ISDN, LAN, or T1/T3 connection.

While the file is downloading, your browser will advance to a "Thank You" page. This page contains links to Installation Instructions, Updates, and Helpful Links.

Be sure to click on and follow the Installation Instructions from Adobe.

When installation of the Adobe Acrobat Reader is complete, you may download, view, and print all of the related documents on this Web site.
