2017 No Child Left Inside® State Parks and Forests Day Passes Now Available at Your Local Library!
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has again partnered with the Connecticut Library Consortium
to provide State Parks and Forests Day Passes at the main library branch for each Connecticut town.
The pass can be used to waive entrance fees at state parks and forests where there is an established parking fee. Fees are charged at all four state park beaches on Long Island Sound, as well as at numerous inland parks. The pass also covers the admission fee for 2 ADULTS and 4 CHILDREN at state historical sites and the exhibit centers at Dinosaur (Rocky Hill), Fort Trumbull (New London) and Gillette Castle (East Haddam) State Parks. The pass is not for commercial use and is valid for one private vehicle carrying fewer than 12 passengers.
Visit your local library today to sign out the pass and enjoy Connecticut’s many natural wonders!
